Data we process
Where available, the game stores settings and progress only in your browser's local storage (localStorage): chorros.player, chorros.kit, chorros.quality, chorros.options, chorros.audio, chorros.j-pressed, chorros.mates, chorros.stats, chorros.missions and chorros.money. These values preserve character and kit choices, graphics and audio settings, game progress, statistics and in-game currency. They are not sent to us. You can delete them using your browser's website-data controls; doing so deletes saved game progress.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, Inc. processes visitor IP addresses and request logs to deliver content through its global CDN, operate the service and protect it against abuse and attacks. Data may be processed outside Switzerland and the EU. Cloudflare describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and provides a Data Processing Addendum with Standard Contractual Clauses for customer data. The retention period for this project's request logs is [to confirm].
Umami analytics
If Umami is configured for a release, we use it for aggregate visit statistics. Umami is intended for cookieless analytics; the game sets no analytics cookies. The Umami instance and its operator depend on the release configuration: [to confirm]. If Umami is not configured, no Umami analytics takes place.
Cookies and similar technologies
The game currently sets no tracking cookies. It uses localStorage for the game and settings functions described above. The hosting provider, an enabled Umami instance or a future checkout may use additional technologies; this notice will be updated if that happens.
Purposes, recipients and international transfers
Cloudflare receives technical request data to deliver and secure the website. Local game values preserve settings and progress on your device. If enabled, Umami measures reach; its specific recipients and data transfers depend on the configured instance: [to confirm]. Cloudflare provides Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum as safeguards for international data transfers. Whether and on what basis further Umami transfers occur is [to confirm].
Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data and may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Write to info@tannerlab.ch. Where GDPR applies, additional rights and the right to complain to a competent supervisory authority may apply. The legal basis for each processing activity and any EU representative are [to confirm] based on target markets and actual processing.
